I was born and raised in Iran.
I only learned about the extent to which I loved my mother tongue when I moved out of the country. When I experienced missing Farsi all day everyday, despite speaking perfect English.
Zabanzaar emerges from a place of love and longing.
Itโs like when youโre crazy about a music band and you wanna have your friends listen to it.
I want to share with you the beauty I see.
